Welcome Jerry Burns

Portfolio Center welcomes Jerry Burns as the new Department Head of Photography.

Jerry is the founder of the award-winning StudioBurns, in Atlanta. His impressive client roster includes Interface, Neenah Paper, Georgia Pacific, Delta Air Lines, and the Los Angeles Philharmonic. His twenty-five year career has taken him all over the world and his work has been featured in such notable publications as CA, Print, PDN, and Graphis, among others.

But Jerry’s creativity doesn’t stop there. When not on the road, in the studio, or teaching, he can be found writing songs or recording, with two albums to his credit. He’s an accomplished acoustic guitarist and has played with the likes of Caroline Aiken, Michelle Malone, and Emily Saliers.

As his friends, clients, and former students already know, Jerry Burns brings great passion and energy to everything he does. He has been a part of the Portfolio Center family for many years, as an instructor and consultant, so he’s as excited as we are about this new chapter in his life and career.
