NY Portfolio Review ‘07

I thought you all might enjoy a quick look at the graduate review held at the American Association of Architects Center for Architecture in NYC this past Friday. Our cowboys and hot rods did great presenting to on average 20-25 each all through the day. There was no time for lunch… it was wall to wall.

Command X

One of the most exciting parts of the AIGA design conference Next was the Command X event, sponsored by Atlanta-based Neenah Papers. Portfolio Center was proud to have one of our students chosen as a participant. Scott Gundersen had the rare opportunity to present work in front of over 2000 professionals, and he did a great job representing us. Goings-On in Denver

I got this note from “the girls” at the AIGA conference. They seem a bit star struck, but I think they’re finding out pretty quickly about the networking that goes on here at PC and the extent of Mr. Richardson’s influence. Here, I’ll turn the post over to them:

Portfolio Center has an excellent placement rate, the kind you can’t achieve by tacking notices on the bulletin board about how so-and-so firm will be interviewing on such-and-such-a date. Our success is the result the school’s excellent reputation, coupled with years of methodical, strategic networking and relationship building.
