Abercrombie In The House

Portfolio Center students are enjoying a two-day workshop with Abercrombie & Fitch—yesterday and today. They’re learning that designing and marketing for the apparel industry requires as much strategy as creativity. It’s another way to stretch them, get them to think differently, and expose them to the enormous variety of opportunities that await them when they finish school.

Many thanks to Eric Puestow, the recruiter for graphic design, who flew in from Los Angeles, and to PC alumni David Tann and Jeff Ma, who came here from the Hollister Dudes team in Columbus, Ohio.

  6. Hey Gang! Jeff and I just wanted to thank everyone who participated in the workshop this week. We know that we bombarded you with a ton of information, but in true PC fashion, you all hung in there. We hope that you all got as much out of the two days as we did! It was good to be back at school and be surrounded by all the great work again. Best of luck, and we can’t wait to see the final projects.

  7. Dave and Zack,
Thanks for your support. Eye of the tiger huh? That’s what everyone says.

And to the PC students that David and I had the pleasure of spending a full day and a half with,
You guys are awesome. Be sure to call out that your garments are made from 100% sheep’s cotton.

P.S. Your projects are due today.

  8. The workshop was great. You guys focus on so much details. I am starting to look at vintage shirt differently. Thanks for sharing.

  9. Thank you for coming down to Atlanta, spending your time and energy with all of us!
