Love PC Style
I received an email last weekend from design alum Liz Zang, announcing her engagement to another PC alum, copywriter Ryan Scott.
Liz worked for us downstairs as a student worker and even traveled to her Alma Mater, Michigan State, to do some recruiting for us. I could always count on her to go beyond the call of duty, and I know she’s carried that enthusiasm with her into her career and life.
The couple have been an “item” since 2004 and are currently working on the West Coast—she’s at Ph.D, and he’s at DDB Worldwide.
Ryan, a talented writer, who was famous among his classmates and teachers for his smart strategy and dry wit, pulled off an event that Liz described as “magical” and “the happiest and most memorable moment of [her] life.” Sounds like he’s off to a good start.
As the story goes, Liz and Ryan hiked up Point Dume in Malibu, some 300 feet above the ocean. As they took in the beautiful scenery, watching the seals and dolphins swim below, Ryan popped the question.
Liz said yes, of course, and she obviously loves the ring. They’re planning a summer wedding next year in LA.

Thanks Hank!! How sweet of you. We couldn’t be more excited. Of course the designer in me wants to start on the invitations now. One correction to make, I am now working at Mattel designing toy packaging (it’s pretty fun) and Ryan has recently moved to an agency called WongDoody. Thanks again.
Congratulations! You guys look so happy.
WongDoody?
LIz,
So very happy for you and proud of all your accomplishments. Wishing both of you the best life has to offer!
