Cybersomething for Everyone
Seems we have several among the Portfolio Center community—students, faculty, and alumni—who’ve started their own blogs—offering everything from the informative to the philosophical to the soap operatic. Here are a few I know about, and I’m hoping you guys will ‘comment’ with links to the ones I’ve yet to discover.

I started my blog in June 2004 just as I was preparing to leave my old job, get married, and head out to PC for the winter quarter. It’s part philosophical, part diary, mainly a journal of activities for my family and friends back home and around the world.

I have a job that affords me to sit around and think alot (and work on projects), which is great! However, an idle mind is the devil’s playground, so this blog is me literally letting the devil out! (And letting the devil out isn’t usually a bad thing, as long as there is a delete key…) ; )

I do a blog with my friends, http://www.digitalblog.net. It has the winning combination of words, pictures, and videos. To see only my posts, the link is http://www.digitalblog.net/index.php?author=2
Blogging for me has been really cathartic. I have trouble writing unless it’s TO someone. I love reading other blogs - it feels almost voyeristic to me. Thought I’d return the favor. I want to write about what’s real - anything from the ridiculous to the tragic. When someone sends a letter to you - you’re seeing a very different side of them. I think blogs make the world appear more reflective, and our relationships with ourselves and each other, more seamless. I love that. And by the way, you can thank Mr. Puckett for inspiring me, and Ms. Kosma for being such a faithful comment poster.
